Is there any Registration Fee for registering as a Working Professional?

Yes. A nominal annual registration fee of Rs. 1299/—must be paid once B-Acads starts reaching academic institutes. You may register now, and we will contact you once the application is live.

Will I be paid any honorarium for being a Guest Lecture?

Yes. You will be paid on an hourly basis for your engagement as a Guest Speaker by the Aacademic Insititute

What will be the duration of the Guest Lecture?

The duration of guest lecture is generally 2 to 3 hours.

What will be the mode of delivery for Guest Lectures?

The Guest Lecture will be in either online mode or offline mode,depending on the requirement of the college.

Can I register for only the online mode of Guest Lecture?

Yes. You can select your preference for delivering a guest lecture during registration. It can be either online Only, offline only or Both Online & offline. However, for better opportunities, it is desired that you be available for both online and offline lectures

Will the Guest Lecture have any assessment? If yes, do I have to design and evaluate the same

Yes. Students may have to answer a quiz at the end of the Guest Lecture. This ensures that they pay attention. You will have to devise a quiz with the help of our academic expert, evaluation will be automatic

Will I be required to travel to different cities in the offline mode of Guest Lectures?

No. The offline mode is available only if the college is in the same city as the working professional.

Will the honorarium differ for online and offline modes of Guest Lecture?

Yes. Considering the travel costs, the honorarium will be slightly higher for offline lectures.

Will I be paid if I serve on a college committee, such as the Board of Studies or the Governing Council?

This depends on the policy of the individual college. Generally, colleges pay some honorarium for these services

Will I be paid if I am invited as a chief guest or a judge for an event in the college?

This depends on the college's policy. Generally, being invited to such events is a matter of pride and may not involve an honorarium.

Will I receive any assistance from B-Acads when I go to deliver a Guest Lecture?

Yes our academic co-ordinators will guide you in selection of topic and content for the lecture, if required

As a Guest Speaker, am I supposed to do any activity other than delivering the lecture?

You may be asked to share links for quiz (prepared by academic co-Ordinator) and feedback on the lecture. You may also take some pics which should be shared with B-Acads

How will I receive my payment?

B- Acads will raise an invoice to the institute and on your behalf and the institute will pay the honorarium directly to your bank account after deducting TDS.

Do I need to pay anything to B- Acads?

B-Acads will charge you a nominal fee per lecture towards its services which has to be paid by the speaker 48 hours before the Guest lecture is delivered

Do I need to inform my organisation about my association with management institutes?

You need to check the company policy regarding the same. If there is no clarity on this aspect, we advise you to inform your organisation about the same. You may download this letter and share the same with your organisation.

What is the difference between Guest Speaker and Visiting faculty?

The guest speaker will address the students on a topic of expertise for 2 to 3 hours. The focus is on making students aware of a specific industry/function/process. The visiting faculty position however involves taking charge of a course (subject) allotted to you. Visiting faculty is expected to follow the syllabus prescribed by University and conduct sessions on a weekly basis. It also involves evaluating the performance of the students regularly. The commitment in terms of time and effort is significantly higher for a visiting faculty than a Guest Speaker

Is the honorarium same for Visiting Faculty and Guest Speaker?

The Guest Speaker is generally paid hourly, while the Visiting Faculty is paid per lecture. Since the engagement as a Visiting faculty lasts the entire semester, the overall payment received for a visiting faculty member is higher.

How do I get higher visibility on B-Acads platform?

B-Acads platform will display the list of assignments undertaken by you and the feedback given by Academic Institutes. This will build higher credibility around your profile and you will get more engagement opportunities with Academic Institutes

They can share their requirements on B-Acads, have discussions with shortlisted faculty members, ask for proposals, conduct meetings (virtual/offline) and then finalise on the faculty member

Who will decide the pricing of training and consultancy projects?

Faculty members will provide their pricing in the proposal. The organisation can negotiate with them and finalise the pricing terms

How can the progress of these activities be tracked by Organisation & Faculty?

The agreed terms and conditions including milestones will be uploaded on B-Acads. Both the parties can thus track their progress on the assigned projects

What are the charges the B-Acads will charge for their services?

B-Acads will have a nominal annual registration fee. In addition a specified percentage would be charged per project

Which academic institutes can register on B-Acads?

Any institute/university that offers a program in management studies at graduate level or post graduate/masters level can register on B-Acads
