Dr. Manisha Karandikar has 25+ years of experience across Industry as well as Academics. She has completed her PhD in marketing from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and her experience as a Professor of Marketing made her realize that Industry Professionals are willing to connect with Academic Institutes, however they often do not know how to reach out to them. The right person in the academic setup is often difficult to spot, as networking with industry is every faculty member’s responsibility but there is no well defined process of achieving this goal. In absence of this process/ platform faculty members rely on their personal contacts and alumni connect.

Dr. Manisha Karandikar realized the value that an industry professional can add in providing a practical perspective to the theoretical inputs provided by the faculty members. This gave birth to the idea of B-Acads

Manish Karandikar, is Engineering graduate in Electronics and is the Founder Director of Nextworld Solutions. He has worked as AVP- IT at Motilal Oswal Securities Ltd and AVP-IT services at Lazard India Ltd and has more than 25 years of experience in managing people, process and strategies in various capacities. He is certified in Six Sigma Green Belt techniques for implementing process and workflows of daily operations, Certified ISO 9001:2000 Internal Auditor for ISO certification, Certified ITIL Foundation (version 3) – September 2007(75%),Certified in NSE Derivatives Market (Dealers) Module, Certified in NSE Cash Market (Dealers) Module. He had worked with several clients in countries like US, UK, Australia and Singapore. If not at work Manish loves to cook and spends lot of time in learning and experimenting in cooking.
