Visiting Faculty

Academic Institutes often recruit Visiting faculty to teach an entire course (subject) throughout the semester. Professionals with relevant industry experience are preferred as Visiting Faculty. The institute shares the syllabus and learning outcomes. You will be given a fixed slot at your convenience and you must teach the allotted course to the students. As a visiting faculty member, you may also need to set question papers, conduct assignments, and evaluate them. You are expected to submit your session plans i.e. plan of what you intend to cover in each session at the beginning of the semester. At the end of the semester, you need to submit marks of your students to the admin office of the institute.

Overall Visiting Faculty is a semester-long commitment, and the faculty is paid an honorarium on an hourly basis.
